In Mile 46 village, Art for Change and partners created an art town out of a Maasai trading center. With the help of local and international artists and locally trained painters about 150 structures have become a living art work that keep on evolving.

In this case, the future of art may well be urban. However, if this is to be the case, M2 artist's argue that art’s role relies in its ability to not only depict everyday life but to also disturb it – to give it new meaning and purpose.
